Longcloth

The ordinary staple cotton cloth of Coromandel, very famous in Europe on account of its length of 37 yards and width of 1.25 yards. It varied widely in quality and price. Earlier it was woven
in Golconda but later It was produced mainly in Madras area. It was usually exported white but it could also be in blue or brown colours.
