Ivory, Horn and Bone Craft of Bangladesh

The craft of making intricate and artistic products from horn and bone is a well known and a major craft activity in Bangladesh.

Jessore has a concentration of horn-crafstmen who excel in horn-crafts including the crafting of hair-combs for daily use and gift items in the shape of flora and fauna. Rangamati also has a concentration of bone craftsmen who excel in making ivory crafts.
