Block Printing: Bagru

Descriptive Line: Buntas or Buntis are blocks made of three varieties of wood gurjan (Dipterocarpus Tubinatus-Gaert), seasoned teak (Tectone grandis-Linn) and sisum (Dalbergia Latifolia-Roxb). The Syabi beghar style printing and dyeing on the panel shows four rectangular segments with alternate rows of floral and linear patterns.
