The CCWB is concerned with trying to find avenues for a better life for craftpersons both as part of their larger community and that of the natural environment. Its role is not only that of a catalyst, but also as a beneficiary of the resulting harmonious socio-economic ordr.It is a non-profit making voluntary organisation committed to the preservation of the traditonal crafts of West Bengal & Eastern India through research, documentation, design & development and marketing at the grassroot level.
