The Museum was established by Dr. CHUNG Young Yang and opened in May 2004.
The museum houses an extensive collection of embroidered and woven textiles dating from the fourth century BC to the present day. It is particularly strong in East Asian costume and decorative textiles and includes a range of embroidered items, from wedding garments to table coverings.
