AN INITIATIVE OF CRAFT REVIVAL TRUST.  Since 1999

This craft emerged in Maharashtra’s Ahmednagar where Sisal plants are easily available. Sisal crafts make use of naturally occurring raw materials such as leaves, jute, and coir. The Ambadi sisal crafts have a rustic charm due to the use of natural materials. Sisal fibre products are tougher than jute and are crafted into attractive and colourful bags and mats.
