Kovai Cora Cotton or Kovai Kora Cotton is woven in the Coimbatore region of Tamil Nadu. Kovai Kora Cotton is made from a blend of silk and cotton. A superior quality cotton yarn is used in the weft whereas mulberry silk yarn is used in the warp to weave the fabric. The fabrics developed have brightly coloured border designs.
