Descriptive Line: This monochromatic sujni or spread resembling a Kashmiri shawl is composed entirely in black and white. The densely-filled borders composed of floral elements is surrounded by a row of minute kalkas or paisleys on all four sides. Each corner is marked by thequintessential ornamented kalkas filled with flowers emanating from vines. The rest of the kantha quilted in white is completely devoid of motifs.
