Notes/Description

Four pital flower set within angular naga bordered by band of eight pital flower. Number of roles of yantra motif in both end panels in the old day used to signify the rank of person who wore it. The yantra (yan) motif is believed to be a protective device against physical or spritual harm. Throughout Thailand and neighboring countries, yantra may be painted on manuscript on cotton jackets and panels or tattooed onto the scan.
